Earlier this year, A Perfect Circle bandleader, guitarist and songwriter Billy Howerdel released his haunting solo album What Normal Was, his first in 14 years and first ever under his own name. (His previous one, 2008's Keep Telling Myself It's Alright, was released as Ashes Divide.) One of the highlights from the record is the pulsing, gothy cut "Ani," and today (October 11th), Howerdel has unleashed a fiery music video for the song directed Mynxii White (Korn, Andy Black, Tinashe).

In addition to releasing the "Ani" short film, Howerdel has teamed with Revolver to release What Normal Was as part of our ICONS series. The drop features six hand-numbered, 180-gram vinyl variants of the album with the limited-edition release including an NFT featuring 360-degree motion album art, and an embedded, scannable NFC tag that has full details on the edition.
