Goats, Moto, Pool Parties, Metal: See Persekutor's Insane "Black Death Punk Skins" Video

Transylvanian riff warriors bring "Romanian ice metal" to the desert

As heard on their forthcoming new album, Permanent Winter, self-proclaimed "Romanian ice metal" tyrants Persekutor are more than a little preoccupied with the threat of freezing to death, so it makes some sense that, when looking for a good time, the group should hit the desert. That's just what bandleader Vlad the Inhaler and Co. do in the music video for their new single "Black Death Punk Skins," and hit it hard. Both the song and its raucous, post-apocalyptic visual are making their debut right here right now — watch and listen above for a taste of Persekutor's gloriously ignorant mix of goat-loving black metal and greasy rock & roll in the grand tradition of Venom, Celtic Frost and Bathory. Permanent Winter is due out September 4th and is available now for pre-order via Svart Records and Bandcamp.

"'Black Death Punk Skins' is only song on album that is not about freezings to death," Vlad the Inhaler tells us. "Which is good because we are filming video in desert in, like, 114 degrees, so we are lucky no one is dying. Song is celebration of all types heavy music — black metal, death metal, punk, etc. — and not wearing shirt."
