Austin crossover-thrash juggernaut Power Trip are currently on the road with Exodus and Obituary, the first of two back-to-back full U.S. jaunts for the band before year end. (The second is with Cannibal Corpse.) Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York, was the site of last night's gig (September 19th), which saw the band ripping through material from its fan-favorite 2017 release Nightmare Logic, as well as select hits from Manifest Decimation. We spent a cold and rainy afternoon with Power Trip as they set up for what would be a monster live gig in the trendy neighborhood venue, documenting both the calm before the (stage-dive) firestorm and the storm itself.
