On Thursday, June 27th, post-hardcore greats Quicksand — led, of course, by former Gorilla Biscuits member Walter Schreifels and current Deftones bassist Sergio Vega — and fast-rising hardcore upstarts Candy played an insane free show at Brooklyn, New York's heavy-music stronghold Saint Vitus. The show was presented by Vans and came ahead of Quicksand's appearance at the Warped Tour's 25th anniversary show in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Photographer Angela Owens was at Vitus to catch all the action — see some of her standout shots below.
