On Saturday (May 20th), Rammstein played their first show of 2023 — an exclusive, fan-club-only dress-rehearsal performance that test-drove the massive 21-song setlist and pyro-heavy production of the German industrial-metal titans' upcoming tour dates.
Held at Vingio Parkas in Vilnius, Lithuania — where Rammstein are set to kick off their 2023 tour proper tonight (May 22nd) — the dress rehearsal saw the Duetschlandic firestarters crank out live-staple fan favorites ("Du Hast," "Sonne," "Links 2-3-4") and deep-cut rarities alike.
Among the latter were Liebe ist für alle da's "Rammlied" (played for the first time since 2011 while frontman Till Lindeman descended to the stage on a huge elevator), Sehnsucht's "Bestrafe Mich" (played for the first time since 2001) and "Giftig," off the group's latest album, Zeit, which got its live debut.
