Rammstein's new, untitled album — the German juggernaut's first LP in 10 years — is finally here, and it's a stunning affair, baroque, sophomoric, undeniably cheesy at times, heavy and gnarly at others, and fun as hell. It's lyrics range all over the place, touching on everything from the dark side of German history ("Deutschland," "Radio") to sex ("Sex") to tattoos ("Tattoo"). Track six, "Puppe," is without question the most intense and unnerving cut on the record, both lyrically and sonically. Singer Till Lindemann pretty much has a conniption on the thing as he tells the grueling first-person story of a young child whose older sister works as a prostitute in the very next room while our poor protagonist takes "my medicine," sits on a down bed, grips a doll ("Puppe" means doll in German) and listens to "sister scream."
