Type O Negative — the Brooklyn goth-metal giants led by the late, great frontman Peter Steele — are one of the most iconic, beloved bands in heavy-music history. In celebration of the Drab Four's enduring legacy, Revolver has teamed with Type O for new, exclusive vinyl, magazines and apparel. These include limited-edition colored vinyl pressings of four classic albums: Slow, Deep and Hard on "clear with black swirl" Bloody Kisses on "clear red with black swirl" and "clear with green swirl," October Rust on "copper pearlescent swirl" and World Coming Down on "smoky gray swirl."
We've also created a new Type O Negative special collector's issue that tells the complete story of the Brooklyn crew — from their gritty origin and triumphant rise to their premature demise following Steele's tragic death — through classic and new interviews with the singer-bassist, plus guitarist Kenny Hickey, drummer Johnny Kelly, keyboardist Josh Silver and more. The 100-page deluxe magazine also features commentary by famous fans including Philip Anselmo, Bill Ward, Lamb of God's Randy Blythe and Lacuna Coil's Cristina Scabbia. This collectible magazine is thicker than a standard issue of Revolver and features embossed type and UV coating on its cover, as well as all-access photography throughout.
Both the vinyl variants and the Type O Negative special issue are available across a variety of collector's bundles, which include numbered leather-like collector's slipcases and exclusive official band merch, some featuring the same striking photography as the magazine covers. Quantities are extremely limited, so order yours now!
