Rob Zombie's '3 From Hell' Rated R for "Sadistic Violence," "Graphic Nudity"

Exactly zero people shocked, but many gorehound fans stoked
3 from hell three from hell rob zombie

Good news for fans who love Rob Zombie's penchant for including "strong sadistic violence," "language," "sexual content," "graphic nudity" and "drug use" in his polarizing horror films — those are the exact terms used to dictate his coming movie 3 From Hell's brand new "R" rating.

Anyone who's seen the film's predecessor, The Devil's Rejects, shouldn't be the slightest bit surprised by this, but the finalized rating does confirm that the recently completed movie is inching ever closer to an actual release date. 3 From Hell will pick up where Rejects left off, resurrecting the infamous Firefly family — as portrayed by returning actors Sherri Moon Zombie, Bill Moseley, and Sid Haig — for more murderous antics.

In his other role as theatrical shock rocker, Zombie has several dates coming up before he teams with Marilyn Manson again for another summer run of "Twins of Evil" tour, this latest edition kicking off July 9th in Baltimore, Maryland. With that run wrapping up in August and only a couple festival dates to follow, Halloween horror season will be in full swing — not a bad time to drop a movie, hint, hint.
