If you've ever dreamed of owning a (figurative) piece of late metal legend Ronnie James Dio, now's your chance, provided you've got cash to blow: Julien's Auctions is set to sell off a trove of costumes, guitars, props and other ephemera owned by the iconic singer this fall. Fans and collectors can bid on the priceless lot in-person from September 15th-17th at New York's Hard Rock Cafe, as well as online.

Highlights of the upcoming auction include an acrylic painting by Barry Jackson used as the cover for the 1984 Dio album The Last in Line, a pair of celestially-inspired patchwork jeans worn extensively in-concert with Rainbow, a custom-made violet suede vest, a personalized hooded velour robe from Black Sabbath's Mob Rules tour, and Dio's personal rolling wardrobe case, just to name a few. Did we mention the an animatronic sphinx from 1984's The Last in Line tour? Or the massive animatronic dragon's head from the following year's Sacred Heart tour? Or his one-of-a-kind custom Charvel guitar a wizard painted on it? Because those bad boys are up for sale, too. For more on the upcoming auction, head here.
