See 7-Year-Old Cover Korn's "Falling Away From Me" at Birthday Party

O'Keefe Music Foundation kid band plays among the candles and cake

The kids at the O'Keefe Music Foundation sure do love Korn. The students — who range from primary school to high-school age — have previously put their own spin on "Freak on a Leash," "Somebody Someone," "Blind" and "Here to Stay," in addition to other metal staples from the likes of Rammstein and Slipknot. However, they seem to have a particular affinity for the Bakersfield nu-metal pioneers, so much so that during the birthday party of seven-year-old vocalist Michael Dalhover, the whole gang busted out their instruments and played through a raucous version of "Falling Away From Me."

Of course, the cover was crushingly adorable, and after all the musical ruckus, the video ends with Dalhover opening gifts in front of all of his friends. Wholesome as hell. Watch above via YouTube.

In addition to breaking the internet with heartwarming, family-friendly playthroughs of heavy-metal faves, the O'Keefe Music Foundation provides free music education to children and adolescents. Find out more about the organization, buy their music and, if you can, make a donation over their official website.
