Stab wounds secrete milky liquid, cop investigates cryptic crime scene in Seattle icons' clip

Following the cryptic microbiological storyline woven with their May video "The One You Know," rock icons Alice in Chains have pushed the plot forward with a new visual for their track "Never Fade." In this chapter, characters become more deeply involved in a mysteriously sinister narrative where they secrete a milky white fluid in place of blood, which is apparently irresistible enough for even a cop investigating a crime scene to taste. The disgustingly intriguing enigma draws in the viewer with disgust and awe, and the periodic flash to the band performing grounds the story in a linear and logic way that promises to unveil itself once the full string of videos are released.

Alice in Chains' latest offering, Rainier Fog, has spent months tearing up the charts while the quartet toured extensively throughout the world. Tomorrow the band will hit Chile and Argentina to round out the year's schedule, before hopefully letting fans further in on the tale told in "Never Fade." Guitarist and co-vocalist William DuVall says of the video, "The full story will gradually be revealed. For now, check out what we love to do best — play live and tell a story with our music."
