See Alice Cooper Join John 5 for Raucous Cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Foxy Lady"

Shock-rock godfather joined Rob Zombie guitarist onstage in Arizona

On Tuesday (February 26th), John 5 & the Creatures rolled into Mesa, Arizona, to bring their breed of lighthearted creepshow rock & roll to the town's Club Red. Fans assembled there got a surprise treat when the Rob Zombie guitarist — who is gearing up to drop a new solo album, Invasion, this summer, as well as new LP with his boss man — welcomed a local legend onto the stage. "If it wasn't for this man, there would be no KISS," John 5 introduced his special guest. "There would be no Marilyn Manson, there would be no Rob Zombie, there would be nothing without this man. This man is the master, he is the king. Let's give it up for your very own, Mr. Alice Cooper!"

Coop then sauntered onto the stage looking cool in sunglasses and black leather jacket and proceeded to join John 5 and his band in a lively, loose cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Foxy Lady." It's a song that Cooper regularly covers in his own concerts, and that made a very notable appearance in a film starring the shock-rock godfather: none other than 1992's Wayne's World, of course.
