See Alien Weaponry Get Fans Stomping in New "Buried Underground" Video

Māori rising stars groove so good

We've been championing Māori groove-metal upstarts Alien Weaponry since before they released their debut album, 2018's , so to say that we're excited for their follow-up is a major understatement. Titled Tangaroa, the trio's sophomore offering is due out September 17th via Napalm Records. So far they've unleashed its environmentally-minded title track, and today (August 5th), they've offered up its second single, the stomping "Buried Underground."

Fitting, considering the song's trudging rhythm, the music video for "Buried Underground" sees Alien Weaponry and fans from across the globe performing a signature stomp. It looks super fun — watch above — and you can still get in on the action because, in conjunction with the new song and video, the band has launched a worldwide "stomp" showdown.

All you have to do is film a clip of your own stomp and post it using the hashtag #AWburiedunderground and tagging the band. The best videos, as selected by Alien Weaponry, will be shared with the world via the group's social media!
