See Angry Alien Eat Worms, Confront Haters in Die Antwoord's Eerie New Video

Singer Yolandi Visser turns into extraterrestrial in freak-rap duo's head-spinning visual for "Alien"

South African freak-rap duo Die Antwoord have unveiled an out-of-this-world video for "Alien," a collaboration with mysterious producer Black Goat (a suspected pseudonym of Cypress Hill producer DJ Muggs) off 2016's full-length Mount Ninji And Da Nice Time Kid.

Directed by Die Antwoord MC Ninja (who makes a cameo as an intimidating diner cook), the head-spinning clip takes the song's extraterrestrial subject matter literally, recasting vocalist Yolandi Visser as a bug-headed alien who, like most of us, just wants to be loved.

Sadly, the denizens of post-apocalyptic Detroit don't share her sentiments, forcing our heroine to munch on glowworms by her lonesome. Sixteen Jones, Ninja and Yolandi's teenaged daughter, makes a cameo as well, as does a strange, humanoid alien. Don't worry, they all come in peace — we think.
