Over the weekend, Anthrax played a show at The Fillmore in Detroit, which happened to fall on the birthday of Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell. To honor the life of the late guitarist, who would have been 56 this year, the thrash metal legends performed a partial cover of Pantera's "Domination." Earlier this summer, Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante announced he was taking part in Pantera's reunion tour, which will feature original members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown, as well as Black Label Society/Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde.

"[F]or me, it was a very emotional thing to do this," Benante said on Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk in July. "That's what it's all about — it's all about those two guys and doing it… I don't wanna see anybody else doing it but me, cause I'm gonna do it right."

Pantera's reunion tour is expected to kick off in 2023.
