See Anthrax Play "Bring the Noise" With Slipknot's Corey Taylor in 2003

High-voltage collab went down at Germany's Full Force Festival

Anthrax and Public Enemy's "Bring the Noise" is largely credited as the first proper rap-metal song, and certainly the single most influential fusion of the two styles, which would become joined at the hip in the coming decade with the rise of nu-metal. Slipknot are one of the most prominent bands who took and ran with Anthrax's pioneering tune, so it was only fitting that frontman Corey Taylor would join the New York thrashers onstage for a special guest feature back in 2003.

The climactic collab went down during Anthrax's set at Germany's Full Force Festival, where it was fortunately filmed by pro camera people so we can see all of the action go down today. This was still in the era of Anthrax when John Bush was on the mic, so he got the crowd riled up by introducing Taylor as if he was some kind of wrestling star. From there, the two of them traded screams in what amounted to an especially charged-up version of "Bring the Noise."
