See Architects Tear Through Nirvana's "Territorial Pissings" Live

British metalcore act delivers crushing take on classic grunge track

Architects performed a twenty-minute set at Maida Vale for BBC's 'Radio 1 Rocks 2017' event yesterday, October 31st. In addition to tearing through their latest single "Doomsday," the metalcore outfit payed homage to Nirvana with an intense cover of "Territorial Pissings" – retitled "Territorial Pssssings," so as to comply with broadcasters' obscenity standards. "We never really do covers, so it feels very cool that we're doing one today," frontman Sam Carter said, addressing the crowd. "And it's fun, right?"

Who are we to argue? Check out their explosive take on the Nevermind cut above, and scroll down for "Doomsday." Architects' full set is streaming now via BBC, but be warned: due to rights issues, the player only works for viewers in the U.K.
