See August Burns Red Show Their "Bones" in Stunning New Video

Guitarist Brent Rambler: "Possibly the coolest music video we've ever done"

Earlier this month, metalcore veterans August Burns Red dropped their excellent eighth album, Guardians, which is chock full of bangers, from "Paramount" to "Defender." While they're currently sidelined from the road — the band managed to complete all of two dates of their highly anticipated spring run with Killswitch Engage before the trek had to be called off — ABR are hardly sitting on their hands. To the contrary, the quintet just offered up a visually stunning music video for Guardians standout "Bones," which, true to the song's title, sees the band's revealing their inner selves in very literal fashion.

"The video for 'Bones' is possibly the coolest music video we've ever done," guitarist Brent Rambler commented. "It takes the song title quite literally, and creates an awesome and visually stunning video. It was a weird video for us to shoot, because for the vast majority of it we had to stand perfectly still, so all of the x-ray and other effects could line up properly. That's definitely a departure from a usual music video where you are supposed to bang your head as hard as possible all day long. We've been at this for a while so our old 'Bones' (wink) were happy for the change of pace."
