Weird shit goes down in visual for lead cut off band's 2016 album 'Pagan Science'

"'Black Eyed Gods' obviously touches on the fact that society is pretty much shit," the Well singer/guitarist Ian Graham says succinctly. "But if someone doesn't see a problem with society as it is — well, I don't want to fuck that up for them, so we leave a lot for interpretation."

The Well may have left room for interpretation in their psychedelic new video, too, but the track's chanting vocals by Graham and bassist/singer Lisa Alley unmistakably implore black-eyed gods to cleanse the world. The song is the lead cut off the Well's sophomore album, Pagan Science, released in 2016. The group's 2014 song "I Bring the Light" soundtracks Revolver's recent "Ride the Lightning" video with street-skating icon Chris Cole.

The Well are set to hit the road this summer, beginning in Dallas and wrapping up in Houston. "We can't wait to get loud and weird in strange cities," says Graham.
