See Avatar Face Heavy-Metal Wolfmen in New Video "The Dirt I'm Buried in"

Latest single off upcoming 'Dance Devil Dance' LP

Avatar are counting down to the February 17th release of their highly anticipated ninth album, Dance Devil Dance. Today (December 8th), the theatrical Swedish heavy-metal troupe — fronted by the clown-faced Johannes Eckerström — offered up the LP's latest single, "The Dirt I'm Buried in," along with its horror-comedy-themed music video, which comes complete with heavy-metal werewolves and other mythical beasts. Watch and listen above.

"Our new album is designed to make you move and to move you," Eckerström commented. "We destroyed all doubt with 'Valley of Disease.' We blew the competition off the mountain with 'Dance Devil Dance.' Now the world is ours, and yours with us. The stage is set all that's left to do is give in and join the circus. This is 'The Dirt I'm Buried In.' You are welcome."

Avatar appear on the one of the collectible covers of Revolver's Winter 2022 Issue. Order the magazine and a limited-edition splatter vinyl variant of Dance Devil Dance at our shop.
