See AVENGED SEVENFOLD's mysterious new livestream video

O.C. metal titans are teasing something

Avenged Sevenfold are teasing something. The O.C. metal titans just launched a mysterious livestream on their YouTube channel that's currently displaying footage of a weird room filled with band-related scribblings and a few burning candles placed atop a sound system. There's deathbat iconography all over the walls, the band's name written next to a sand timer, and a few other cryptic phrases like "war endures," "life is but a dream" and "we don't care" etched into the premises.

The only sound coming from the video is ambient factory noise, but in the top right corner there's a timer counting down the hours until 11 a.m. EST tomorrow (March 14th), so it certainly appears that the band are prepping to unveil something at that time.

Could it be a new song and/or album announcement? It definitely seems likely. The band have promised that their long-awaited follow-up to 2016's the Stage will finally arrive this year, and with several live shows coming up later this spring and summer, it seems very plausible that the band will be rolling out some new music before then.

For now, all we have is this bizarre livestream, so throw it on above via YouTube and watch it closely for additional clues.
