See Beavis and Butt-Head Take on Type O Negative's "Black No. 1"

"These guys are a cross between Danzig and my butt"

Revolver has teamed with Type O Negative for limited-edition colored vinyl pressings of the band's classic albums plus a new Type O collector's issue and exclusive official band merch. Get yours before they're gone!

Writing about their 1993 magnum opus, Bloody Kisses, Revolver once described Type O Negative as "part Edgar Allan Poe, part Beavis and Butt-Head." Fitting then that the Brooklyn goth-metal antiheroes were a favorite subject of the MTV metalhead miscreants' music-video commentary. During a 1994 episode of their show, the lovably moronic duo sit down on their couch and view the iconic black-and-white clip for "Black No. 1 (Little Miss Scare-All)" (which was directed by Cro-Mags co-founder and current Aggros leader Parris Mayhew).

First, they mock Peter Steele's sepulchral croak and Lugosi-an accent. By the end, they're giggling: "He said, 'No. 1.'" In between, Beavis goads, "You guys aren't gonna get any chicks looking like this!" Boy, was he wrong. Watch above.
