See Behemoth Rip Through "Messe Noire" in Sinister Live Video

Dramatic performance appears on band's upcoming live album, film of same name due out April 13th

Behemoth are set to drop their new live album, Messe Noire, next Friday (April 13th), via Metal Blade. The two-disc release contains audio and video from two 2016 concerts by the iconic extreme metal band: their riotous set at Warsaw's Progresja, which saw Nergal and Co. performing their most recent release, 2014's album The Satanist, in full; and their appearance at Brutal Assault festival in the Czech Republic. In anticipation of the release, Behemoth have shared a dramatic, black-and-white live visual for "Messe Noire," one of several clips also featured in the release.

"'Messe Noire' is everything that the Behemoth live magick [sic] represents, and we're stoked that we have a true representation on record for everyone out there to enjoy," Nergal says of the track's live incarnation. "'Messe Noire' captures the true intensity of what we do as a band and the energy we share with our fans. This is also an exclamation mark: the perfect way to conclude 'The Satanist' cycle, which has been an overwhelming experience and amazing chapter in Behemoth's career and our lives so far!"

Messe Noire hits shelves April 13th via Metal Blade. Pre-order it here.
