Ex-Pantera frontman voices Krampus in Immortal Christmas' yuletide Dimmu Borgir parody

Talk about a Christmas miracle: Just in time for the holidays, the creators of YouTube's Sock Puppet Parody have proffered up a wacky new song and video from Immortal Christmas, the world's first, best and only sock puppet metal band.

Titled "The Banishing," it recasts Dimmu Borgir's "The Serpentine Offering" as a cvlt Christmas story, in which the corpse-painted (or is it corpse-stitched?) trio attempt to summon "Black Metal Santa Claus," only to come face-to-face with Krampus, who — naturally — is voiced by Phil Anselmo (he of Pantera, Down, Superjoint and countless other bands). "THE ONLY GIFT I HAVE IS PAIN!" bellows the beast, chowing down on the sock-rockers — but right when everything seems lost, Santa Claus shows up to save the puppets, "sleighing" the beast with his mighty axe.
