On July 1st, the family, friends and fans of late Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott — who passed away on June 22nd at the age of 54 — came together for a public memorial service at Dallas, Texas, venue the Bomb Factory. Numerous musicians, sports stars and radio personalities sharing their respects to the icon, including Anthrax and Lamb of God drummers Charlie Benante and Chris Adler, who took the stage to play Paul's drum kit, which was set up alongside flower arrangements sent by Slayer, Alice in Chains, Anthrax, Megadeth, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Black Sabbath's Geezer Butler and many more, per Billboard. Now, Pantera have posted, via Instagram, a video of another original Black Sabbath member, drummer Bill Ward, reading a solemn original poem he penned for Paul; the clip originally aired at the memorial event.
