See Cameron Azi Fight Inner "War" in Gnarly New Video

NYC trap-metal artist pairs killer single with nightmarish visual

Roaring out of the mean streets of NYC, Cameron Azi is a trap-metal artist whose hard-hitting, genre-crossing sound is inspired by the likes of Slipknot, Korn and Crystal Castles. His pseudonym represents both his appreciation for shock value and his search for deeper meaning (according to his bio, "Azi" is a Roman verb meaning "to know"). Both impulses are reflected in his latest audiovisual offering, the dynamic new single "War" and its Sky Rizzo-directed music video.

"This song definitely means a lot to me and the internal conflict we face daily and being in a generation where the internet is a thing. It'll force you a lot to compare your life to others," he tells us of "War." "This is song is about is about giving yourself [and] your art a real purpose of yourself instead of worrying what others is gonna like. Also that war is something that's more than external [and] internally, too, people go through on the daily that needs to be faced for growth." Watch and listen above.
