'Two Minutes to Late Night' assemble Dillinger Escape Plan, Cave In, Converge members for quarantine jam

The maniacs at Two Minutes to Late Night — a.k.a. one of the funniest things on the heavy-fucking-metal internet — have assembled an amazing cast of heavy hitters for a "Bedroom Cover" of Ozzy Osbourne's immortal classic "Crazy Train." Driving this particular locomotive: Chelsea Wolfe, joined as nearly always by her main collaborator Ben Chisholm. Along for the ride are guitarists Stephen Brodsky (Cave In, Mutoid Man) and Gwarsenio Hall (a.k.a. Two Minute's corpse-painted impresario), bassist Liam Wilson (Azusa, Dillinger Escape Plan) and drummer Urian V. Hackney (Rough Francis, sometimes Converge's touring lineup).

This quarantined dream team combines for a truly inspired take on the Eighties heavy-metal standard, reimagining it in minor key as a spooky gothic dirge that nods to John Carpenter's iconic Halloween score and the green-cast doom of Type O Negative. While the song might seem like an unlikely one for Wolfe to tackle, the truth is that Ozzy solo numbers — as well as Black Sabbath's "Changes" — have long been among her karaoke go-tos, as she revealed to us in 2017. Watch above.

The "Crazy Train" cover follows up Two Minutes' recently released all-star takes on Steely Dan's "Reelin' in the Years" and Weird Al's Devo parody "Dare to be Stupid." Look out for more bedroom covers to come.
