See Clutch's Neil Fallon Bring Rock Fury in Volbeat's New "Die to Live" Video

Volbeat's Michael Poulsen: "We hope you have as much fun watching it as we did making it!"

Clutch's Neil Fallon's swaggering, drunken preacher-man presence makes just about any song better, from his band's own recordings to other artists' cuts on which he guests, such as Mastodon's "Blood and Thunder" and Soulfly's "Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla." In no small part due to his burly vocal contribution, the song "Die to Live" is one of the highlights of Danish rockers Volbeat's latest album, Rewind, Replay, Rebound. The Clutch frontman also pops up in the single's cool new performance video, which was directed by Adam Rothlein at Ghost Atomic Pictures and filmed at Futura Studio in Roslindale, Massachusetts. In addition to Fallon, both the song and video also feature Raynier Jacob Jacildo and Doug Corcoran of JD McPherson's band.

"A couple of months ago I flew up to Boston to meet up with Volbeat to film the video for their new single, 'Die to Live,'" Fallon commented of the clip. "It was a breeze to make, maybe four hours. It's a catchy straight-ahead rocker of a song and I am flattered to have been asked to participate."

Volbeat bandleader Michael Poulsen added, "We were thrilled to be able to get Neil, Raynier and Doug together with us in the same room to shoot this video, and we're really proud of how it came out. We hope you have as much fun watching it as we did making it!" Check out the action above.
