A standout all-star jam from Dimebash 2019

Last night (January 24th) the metal stars aligned once again to celebrate the life and legacy of Pantera's great guitar hero Dimebag Darrell. Dimebash 2019, fueled by Monster Energy, went down at Santa Ana's Observatory OC and, in addition to Monster, was sponsored by Affliction, Metal Blade Records, Dean Guitars, ddrum, California's Finest and BackBeat BBQ.

Sirius XM's Jose Mangin served as host, and a slew of master headbangers joined in the fun, but the highlight of the evening had to be when a handful of the night's biggest names — Dave Grohl, Corey Taylor, Rex Brown, Anthrax's Scott Ian and Charlie, and ex-Megadeth shredder Chris Broderick — teamed up for a massive rendition of Pantera's iconic smash "Walk."

Everyone was clearly having a great time, particularly Grohl, who played guitar during the performance wearing an apron since he was splitting his time between rock-star duties and grill-master duties. See side-stage footage of the action above, and check out a pic from rehearsal, shared by Scott Ian via Instagram earlier that day.
