Sure, Slipknot used to set themselves on fire and jump into the crowd from terrifying heights, but at some point you've just gotta grow up and wear a colorful fedora.
Slipknot are currently in Australia for a number of Knotfest dates. It's the first time the band has been to Australia since 2016, so the fans down under have been going wild at the gigs. One fan even reportedly caused a show to briefly pause after he climbed one of the speaker towers.
This moment, though, is a little more wholesome. Caught on film by Cherry Bombs leader and wife of Corey Taylor, Alicia Taylor, the Slipknot frontman had some fun with a fedora that was likely thrown on stage by a fan. Wearing the fedora over his mask, Corey didn't skip a beat while performing for a giant festival crowd.
