Pepper Keenan and Co. mark release of new album 'No Cross No Crown' with trippy performance visual

No Cross No Crown, Corrosion of Conformity's first album with Pepper Keenan in 12 years, is officially out today, January 12th. To commemorate the hotly-anticipated new LP, the North Carolina sludge-metal outfit has premiered a kaleidoscopic music video for one of its standout cuts, "The Luddite." Its constantly-shifting array of dramatic backdrops — Flames! Fractals! Wastelands! — and extensive mirroring effects takes the band's already-energetic performance to ferocious new heights, proving once again that green screens are always a wise investment.

Corrosion of Conformity's "The Luddite" visual follows last month's politically-inspired animated music video for No Cross No Crown single "Wolf Named Crow," which the band shared last month. The record also includes the explosive "Cast The First Stone."
