Marilyn Manson has enlisted grunge goddess Courtney Love to be his personal nurse ... in his upcoming "Tattooed in Reverse" video, that is. A snippet from the forthcoming Heaven Upside Down visual, posted to the Antichrist Superstar's Twitter today (March 21st), shows the Hole bandleader in full nurse getup, pushing a wheelchair-bound Manson down a dark hallway. "Who allowed Courtney Love to be my nurse?" Manson asks in the caption, before answering his own question: "Oh shit ... I did." Considering how Manson's previous Heaven Upside Down clips have involved Johnny Depp orgies and gun-toting nuns, we're most likely in for a wild ride.
Manson hinted at Love's involvement in "Tattooed in Reverse" well in advance of today's teaser; two weeks ago, he posted a photo of himself and Love — makeup, costumes and all — with the caption "Taking shit back. TIR" (TIR, of course, being "Tattooed in Reverse.")
Manson is set to support last year's Heaven Upside Down this summer with a joint trek alongside Rob Zombie, appropriately dubbed "Twins of Evil: The Second Coming." Find a full list of dates here.
