See the Cure Perform Landmark 'Disintegration' Album Live at Sydney Opera House

Seminal post-punks celebrated record's 30th anniversary with stunning takes on "Lovesong," "Fascination Street," more

In 1989, the Cure released the gothic rock masterpiece Disintegration. Featuring inescapable singles like "Lovesong" and "Fascination Street," the album marked a shift back toward the band's earlier sound and has long since been a favorite among both casual and diehard fans (like Trent Reznor, who recently inducted the band into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with a truly heartfelt speech).

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of this musical landmark, Robert Smith and Co. took to Sydney's Vivid LIVE festival on May 25th to perform the album in full, including the first performances of its closing tracks "Homesick" and "Untitled" in 17 years. The English rockers also debuted several songs live, including "Out of Mind", "Delirious Night," "No Heart," "Fear of Ghosts," and a cover of singer-songwriter Wendy Waldman's "Pirate Ships" during an eight-song encore.

Gracing the Australian stage with a visually stunning setup and perfectly executed two-and-a-half-hour show, the 40-plus year old band were in top form for the professionally captured event. Watch the livestream in full above, and see below for the complete set list.
