See THE CURE play "A Thousand Hours," "Six Different Ways" for first time in 36 years

And check out the glorious setlist from North American kickoff show

At long last, The Cure kicked off their North American tour last night (May 10th) in New Orleans at the Smoothie King Center, and the setlist was a career-spanning treat.

Robert Smith and Co. ripped through a whopping 29 (!) songs throughout the night, opening with "Alone," closing with "Boys Don't Cry," and then slipping in two other songs that they haven't played live in 36 years!

In the middle of their first encore, the band busted out Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me's "A Thousand Hours," and during their second encore, they included the Door's "Six Different Ways" — neither of which the Cure have played since 1987.
