See Cyndi Lauper Duet With Marilyn Manson, Henry Rollins at Benefit Show

Girls just wanna sing "The Beautiful People" and "Rise Above"

On Tuesday (December 10th), Cyndi Lauper threw her annual Home for the Holidays benefit gig at Los Angeles' the Novo, and she brought out a host of big names for event, including Marilyn Manson and Henry Rollins, who jumped onstage with the Eighties star for two surprising duets. Sporting a gaudy yellow mohawk, Lauper teamed with Manson for a raw, shambolic run-through of the latter's Antichrist Superstar hit "The Beautiful People," which the shock rocker intro'd with a menacing rendition of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." As for Rollins, he and Lauper joined forces to roar the Black Flag classic "Rise Above," in the hardcore anthem's likely first-ever performance to feature a keytar.

In addition to Rollins and Manson, Kesha, Jane's Addiction's Perry Farrell, Belinda Carlisle of the Go-Go's, King Princess, Brandi Carlile, Billy Porter, Lily Tomlin, songwriter Justin Tranter, the Offspring's Dexter Holland and others appeared at the charity event.

All proceeds from the Home for the Holidays celebration benefited Lauper's True Colors United, which works "to develop solutions to youth homelessness that focus on the unique experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people."
