See Dancers Perform Brutal Ballet in Birds in Row's Stunning New Music Video

"I Don't Dance" appears on French post-hardcore band's upcoming album 'We Already Lost the World'

French post-hardcore outfit Birds in Row are gearing up to release their sophomore album We Already Lost the World this Friday (July 13th) via Deathwish Inc. In anticipation, they've unveiled "I Don't Dance," a stirring new track that juxtaposes moody post-punk with angular, chrome-laden hardcore. It's accompanied by an equally stunning music video directed by Craig Murray, which translates the forlorn ripper into a haunting, violent ballet. Dancers Riccardo De Simone and Yuri Yuris alternate between graceful swoops and gritty martial-arts manuevers, blurring the lines between beauty and brutality — just like the track itself.

Birds In Row embark on a North American tour in support of We Already Lost The World next week. In addition to a string of shows opening for Neurosis and Converge, the Francophones are planning a East Coast run with screamo upstarts Portrayal of Guilt. Find a full itinerary here.
