See Death Ray Vision Get Stomped by Wrestlers in Hilarious New Video

Supergroup featuring current, ex-members of Killswitch Engage, Overcast, Soul Remnants, more drops brutal clip for riff-heavy "Just Let It Die"

What do you get when you combine large, sweaty semi-professional wrestling and a raucous hardcore show simultaneously going down in the ring? Death Ray Vision's new video for single "Just Let It Die" does just that, and it turns out the result is a hysterical whirlwind of slapstick comedy and battered, bloodied punks slain neatly in a pile by the end.

"It's almost as if God wanted us to get our asses beat by semi-pro wrestlers," says guitarist Pete Cortese (formerly of Killswitch Engage) of the rowdy showing. The video opens with the band — which also includes vocalist Jeff Gard, guitarist Chris Rosati, bassist Mike D'Antonio (also of KSE) and drummer Colin Conway — backstage warming up, then as a handler comes in an announces the show's start, the members don ski masks and sleeveless tee shirts as they carry their instruments out the the performance. Antics ensue as actual wrestlers Marty the Moth, John Steele, King Leòn the 6TH, Moshpit and Buff Dad gather around the group for a fight at The XWA Event Center in Warwick, Rhode Island.

The nonstop chaos shows the musicians getting their asses handed to them by the beefy pros, with the crowd going wild for the tortuous body slams and choke holds. Guitarist Chris Rosati recalls of the filming, ""There's just something magical about watching your doppelganger as he's being pummeled to death." He claims making the clip was a blast for everyone involved, continuing, "This shoot was honestly some of the most fun I've had in this band to date. We got to drink beer and watch live wrestling all day long. I mean c'mon… Does it get any better than THAT?"

"Just Let It Die" is taken from Death Ray Vision's most recent LP Negative Mental Attitude, available now on all platforms with physical media bundles for sale on the group's official online store. The band will hit the road March 10th for a five-date run. See dates below.
