Fans who saw System of a Down August 12th, 2012, were lucky motherfuckers. In the middle of their set at Michigan's DTE Energy Theater, the alt-metal wackos invited a special friend onstage to blast through "Suite Pee" — Deftones frontman Chino Moreno.
The fellow nu-metal-but-not-nu-metal vocalist has played with System of a Down several times over the years, but this moment was special because Moreno got to do the savage death growls during "Suite Pee," a monstrously heavy cut from SOAD's first album.
Moreno went all-out with his delivery, lurching over and shrieking into the mic while System frontman Serj Tankian screamed in unison on the other side of the stage. It was wild.
