In March, Deftones singer Chino Moreno and Far guitarist Shaun Lopez revived their long-running electronic project Crosses (†††) with the group's first original music in eight years — specifically, two new songs, "Initiation" and "Protection." Both dark, sultry exemplars of the band's sound, the latter has now gotten a cinematic music video, which follows in the footsteps of the former's Lynchian visual. Watch above.
In other Moreno news, his main band, Deftones, are set to finally hit the road again on Thursday (April 14th), to play what will be their first shows since the pandemic and their first in support of their last full-length, Ohms, Revolver's pick for 2020's Album of the Year.
