Upcoming collection feature raw-footage DVD, previously unreleased demos

A slew of raw footage and unreleased music has been assembled for a new CD/DVD set honoring late Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell. Assembled by Darrell's longtime girlfriend Rita Haney in partnership with Pantera videographer Daryl Amberger and filmmaker Rob Fenn, Dimevision Vol 2: Roll With It or Get Rolled Over offers a candid trip down memory lane in the form of a 43-segment DVD culled from several hundred tapes' worth of raw Dimebag footage. It also features a CD containing five previously unreleased demos — including, intriguingly, a track that Haney says was inspired by George Michael. Check out a trailer above, and scroll down to see the collection in all its glory. You can pre-order the collection here ahead of its November 24th release date via Metal Blade.

Dimevision Vol 2: Roll With It or Get Rolled Over arrives more than a decade after the preceding Dimevision Vol 1: That's The Fun I Have, released on Metal Blade in 2006. With so many audiovisual gems still tucked away in Dimebag's vault, Haney says she has more than enough material for future installments, and hopes to keep the project going with fans' support. "With so much footage left over, fans can rest assured that as fulfilling as Dimevision Vol 2: Roll With It or Get Rolled Over is, there's still a lot to look forward to," says Haney. "We hope to make [Dimevision] an annual thing — it will all depend on if the fans want it and support it!"
