Symphonic-metal veterans strip down title track off upcoming album

Dutch symphonic-metal vets Epica are counting down to February 26th, which will mark the release of their latest full-length album Omega, via Nuclear Blast records. Today (February 15th), vocalist Simone Simons and Co. have given fans another taste of what's to come with an acoustic, countrified rendition of the title track, which, interesting enough, has yet to be released in its final album form. The stripped-down version arrives along with a studio-shot performance video. Watch and listen above.

"It's always a lot of fun to work on acoustic versions of new songs," Epica guitarist Isaac Delahaye commented. " For this one, I stripped down the title song of our upcoming album and wanted to give it an uplifting country vibe. Also, it's the first time we are releasing an acoustic version before the actual album version. I absolutely can't wait for you to discover the original. Hang on, the 26th is coming!"
