Plus, an exclusive behind-the-scenes report

Evanescence recently announced Synthesis, their upcoming collection of previously-unheard songs and expanded, orchestral versions of the band's existing material. Today, the group have shared an evocative visual for the single "Imperfection," Evanescence's first new song in six years, which addresses the issue of mental illness and suicide. The moody clip was directed by longtime collaborator P.R. Brown and sees the band members — singer Amy Lee, bassist Tim McCord, drummer Will hunt, lead guitarist/vocalist Troy McLawhorn and guitarist Jen Majura — appearing as ghostly figures submerged in the water.

Revolver was on set during the making of the video — you can watch our exclusive behind-the-scenes report below.
