See Fan Attempt to Learn Slipknot's New Album on Guitar by Ear in 24 Hours

Can YouTube metal musician Nik Nocturnal nail all 14 tracks by day's end?

The day has finally come and now fans can bask in the glory that is Slipknot's latest studio album We Are Not Your Kind. But merely streaming or buying isn't enough for one fan going by the name of Nik Nocturnal, who has taken it upon himself to learn every song on the record and play it by ear within 24 hours of its release. 

Tipped off to us by Banger TV album reviewer Bradley Zorgdrager, Nik is a solo artist hailing from Toronto, Canada, and says in his YouTube channel bio: "I love creating instrumental metal music and covering amazing tracks from some of the greatest bands of my time." His recent videos include a cover of Korn's new single "Cold" and an instructional clip titled "How to Make Amazing Metal Choruses." His channel has racked up 142,000 followers, with many of his videos garnering tens of thousands of views.
