See FOO FIGHTERS cover NINE INCH NAILS' "March of the Pigs" at Sonic Temple

Dave Grohl and Co. plowed through searing 'Downward Spiral' cut

Starting with their emotional return to the stage last week, Foo Fighters have been sprinkling metal Easter eggs into their latest run of shows. Dave Grohl and Co. have been inserting the riff from Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" into the middle of their song, "No Son of Mine," and then during their set at Sonic Temple over the weekend, they plowed through a cover of Nine Inch Nails' "March of the Pigs."

The NIN bit arrived during a three-song medley that began with Devo's "Whip It" and ended with Puddle of Mudd's "Blurry." But in the middle, the band ripped into a searing rendition of the Downward Spiral highlight, replete with venomous screams from Grohl himself.
