See the Ghost Inside Play Triumphant First Show Since Tragic 2015 Bus Crash

Metalcore act sell out L.A. venue The Shrine for first outing since accident that resulted in amputation of drummer Andrew Tkaczyk's leg

It's been nearly four years since metalcore practitioners the Ghost Inside suffered a tragic bus accident that resulted in the death of their driver as well as serious injuries for many band members — including drummer Andrew Tkaczyk who had to have his leg amputated. After years of rebuilding, this past Saturday, July 13th, the band took the stage once more to perform their first set since November 2015 and cranked out 19 songs at The Shrine in Los Angeles.

The band have been teasing the performance for weeks via Instagram, and were overwhelmed with the quick sell-out of the 6,300 capacity venue and response from fans who immediately questioned whether a second show will be added at a later date.

While they currently don't have future shows planned at this time, the band announced, "Going to take a very long time to process everything about yesterday. Thank you to everyone that has been with us and supported us in any way, and thank you to every single person that gathered with us last night to prove that life can swing hard, but you can swing harder. TGI til we die."
