See Gouge Away Enjoy Life on the Road in Lighthearted New "Stray" Video

With their vital mix of ferocious post-hardcore and swirling Nineties-inflected alt rock, Florida punks Gouge Away are one of our favorite up-and-coming bands over here at Revolver HQ. Their latest album, 2018s Burnt Sugar, rips, and to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the breakthrough LP, the group have reworked the B-side hit "Stray," which showcases their softer, more shoegazing side, and created a fun, free-spirited music video for the cut. Gouge Away spent the entirety of the last year on the road, playing out in support of Burnt Sugar, and the "Stray" clip takes fans into what the band members found to be a magical and rewarding experience. "This is a project we made for ourselves that we wanted to share with you," the group commented in a statement. "The music video is like a scrapbook to appreciate the opportunities we've been granted and the bands we've been able to call friends along the way.
