Mastodon have shared the official music video for the song "Show Yourself," which is taken from their forthcoming album, 'Emperor of Sand,' which is due March 31st via Reprise Records. The hilarious clip depicts the Grim Reaper as a downtrodden time-card-puncher trying to deal with a demanding boss at work and demanding wife at home; he's tasked with taking down the members of the band Mastodon, a mission that he finds very challenging, to say the least.
In addition to premiering the video, the band will appear on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' on April 3rd. They will follow up their televised performance with an intimate show at Amoeba Music in Hollywood the following day, April 4th. Fans who are interested in attending the event can get tickets by purchasing 'Emperor of Sand' at the store's location. Fans will also receive a limited-edition lithograph in addition to a ticket for the set.
