Last month, GWAR flipped their lids at fibbers on the raging "Mother Fucking Liar," and now the Scumdogs are back with another taste off their new album The New Dark Ages, which comes with a companion graphic novel titled GWAR in the Duoverse of Absurdity. Both the LP and the book are due out June 3rd (with vinyl and cassette arriving September 16th via GWAR's own label Pit Records), but today you can blast the thrashy "Berserker Mode" and peep its delightfully gory and gooey music video.
"This is my origin story, about transforming into a drug-jacked unpredictable liability on the battlefield," Blöthar said of the song's meaning. "But like me, it has a softer side, a tale of the struggle of becoming my authentic self … a sexy, multi-donged, vajazzzled, Viking cow beast known as … The Berserker Blóthar!!"
The New Dark Ages is up for pre-order on cassette, CD and vinyl, and the graphic novel as both soft and hard cover.
