Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein's beloved sketch comedy show Portlandia is set to kick off its final season tomorrow, January 18th, on IFC. A hilarious new segment from the premiere episode finds an aging punk-rocker, played by Armisen, reuniting his old band, Riot Spray, in order to stick it to the man.
Together with his bandmates — Henry Rollins, Nirvana's Krist Novoselic and Fugazi's Brendan Canty — Armisen rehearses the group's signature hit, "I Refuse" — once they wrap up lengthy intra-band discussion about Bruno Mars, that is. ("He does it all!" exclaims Rollins). The ensuing jam is certainly impressive, but Henry Rollins' impressions of the "Uptown Funk" singer are even better — all the more reason to tune in tomorrow night at 10 P.M. Pacific. Long live Riot Spray!
