On May 16th, NYC hardcore/hard-rock band Life of Agony played a sweaty, cathartic show at the Whiskey in Los Angeles. It was the group's first show in the City of Angels in many years, and their first ever with new drummer Veronica Bellino, who joined in January. LOA are currently on the road on the Rise of the Underground tour, in support of 2017's A Place Where There's No More Pain, a trek they kicked off with two sold-out warm-up gigs at hometown venue Saint Vitus.
"What an absolutely amazing night," bassist Alan Robert says of the Whiskey show, "surrounded by friends old and new, celebrating this music that brought us all together on one of the most legendary stages of all time." Guitarist Joey Z adds, "The show at The Whisky was killer. The positive energy in the room was beyond comprehension. Can't wait to do it again. Thank you, Los Angeles."
